Previous Walks

 

· 7^th October -  Up Near Black Clough and over to Near Bleaklow Stones, Plane Wreakage then lunch at Bleaklow Stones, over to Grinnah then even more stones, down Far Black Clough 10 people 9.5 miles

· !4^th October - Joes Walk: Dovestones. Greenfield, Fern Lee Farm, Wimberry Stone Brow, over to Stable Stones Brow, Chew Green, Chew Hurdles. Lunch at Chew Reservoir, over Dish Stone Moss, down Dean Rocks, over Dam, along Long Lane and then Broadhurst. 10 miles 8 people.

· Brians Walk: Up Blackdon, 2 Minute Crossing via Mad Women Stones and Alport Bridge.

Franks Walk: Errwood.

 

GlenCoe Trip:

 

Bernard Foster reported a good trip. Accommodation in 2 Chalets south of Ballachulish. 10 members from the North West and 3 from the Orkneys. Walking on Monross, Sgorr Dhunwill, Sgorrdhearg, An Bodach, Stob Core Sereanhach. Thanks to Bernard for superb organization. Thanks to Jerry for the Whiskey.

 

Llanwrist 9th, 10th and 11th November

 

4 flats 14 people. Fridays walk meet 11am at Tal-Y-Bont out of Conway – Melynilyn and Dulyn reservoirs. Saturday and Sunday walks arranged on the day. Amstadar restaurant on Saturday night.

Christmas dinner next committee meeting before the Powsers meeting next month 8pm 6th December. Booking forms with the minutes or from any committee member before the 1st December please.
